Is there a way to teach the keyboard microphone translation on Android specific names to spell correctly?

I use the microphone, almost exclusively, to text people, where certain
names ALWAYS come out incorrectly spelled, and then I have to go back and
correct the spelling, which is a PITA.
Where are those voice recordings going anyway?
o To a Google server?
Is there a way to teach whatever voice-to-text server is being fed these
speech-to-text messages how to spell certain hard-to-spell given names?
